Mallory Rao

I am a graphic designer who grew up in Toledo, Ohio. I attended Bowling Green State University, where I earned a BFA in graphic design. After college I worked at a graphic design agency called COACT. After being let go due to downsizing from the pandemic, I explored several different jobs.

Although each one differed from my passion, I found that I could carry the skills and creative mindset through each job. I haven’t stopped designing. Typically you can find me creating T-shirts, polymer clay earrings, and illustrations using my iPad. It couldn’t be done without the help of my two furry sidekicks, Burgh (dog) and Reya (cat).

Creating has and will always be a part of who I am. If I am not busy with the day to day, I am probably watching sports (Pittsburgh teams being the top of the list), or playing one. I have a passion for ALL hockey, but playing roller hockey is a post pandemic activity I love. The utilization of teamwork, competition, and ability to stay active keep me coming back for more. Most people describe me as down to earth, tenacious, athletic, friendly, and funny.
